True. They've been AWOL the last couple of months - I wonder what's up with them...

I'm bringing my brother as usual - this time he has 'promised' to wear a Romo jersey and finally get out of the closet as a Cowgirls fan.  >:(

In addition, we're taking a Football Virgin with us this time. He has just recently started to see the light and watch Football US style. I'm working hard to convert him into a 49er Faithfull but as long as we have Alex Dink and Jimmy Dunk as replacements for Joe Montana and Bill Walsh, maybe I should recommend a team that can actually play offense without forcing their fans to throw up?   :D

I think we'll do as we normally do - arrive at the last minute :)

But maybe I can convince my travel companions to go earlier this time. The Cheerleader Angle might work...

The cheerleader appearences are usually on Saturdays. Since we are the home team I hope some of our former players might come along as well  ;)

A photo!?! As in one!??!?

That's clearly not enough. A complete gallery on the Dise is a minimum requirement...

Grid, have you seen anything on the official Tailgate party yet? Do you have to order tickets for that in advance?

The 49ers Gold Rush visited with NFL fans in England last week to promote the 49ers upcoming game in England next season. They also participated in helping British fans celebrate the league’s biggest event, Super Bowl XLIV.

No, I have not seen anything yet. I believe it is made available later but from my experience it is hardly worth it and the experience at "The Green Man" is much better than the official tailgate imo  8)

I wonder why? I thought it was highly entertaining! If I remember correctly it was the first US Football game shown live on Danish Television. Good way to start  ;D

Although it does not rate as high I have had almost as much fun teasing him with our win in the final regular season game on New Years Day 2006.
A win would have put the Ponys in the playoffs and we were just playing spoilers but I couldn't stop laughing when I called him to wish him "Happy New Year" that night. Denver had lost a 13-point lead and we beat them in OT  ;D

FWIW, I have yet to hear anything from the Niners as a season ticket holder about this game.

You are welcome to join the party "over here"  :)

Some longtime fans fume after 49ers raise ticket prices
http://www.mercurynews.com/49ersheadlines/49ers/ci_14502558?nclick_check=1

After evaluating every seat in the house, the 49ers revised their season-ticket prices for 2010.

Overall, the changes look minimal: The average season ticket will cost $74 per game, up $3 from a year ago. Thousands of seats will cost the same or even less than they did in 2009.

But some longtime loyalists are facing a price increase they say feels like a blindside hit. About 2,000 seats at Candlestick Park are now classified as Platinum areas, with the price jumping from $98 to $149 per game — a 52 percent increase.

So now that Carr has signed, which QB do you think we'll get to see at Wembley? Last year when we went to London, Smith took over from Hill that weekend. I'll bet you we'll see it first hand in London again :)

I certainly don't hope we go through a QB change through the season as it usually does not bode well  :-\

It looks like his injury is not that serious anyway. We'll beat them anyway!
