Lower 18 is great! It is near/on the 50, but the face value is $84 (?)! I find it amazing as to what the brokers are allowed to get away with!!!
Is it just as expensive going through the official 49ers site?
The 49ers sale for face value.  The season ticketholder sales for whatever he wants/can get for the tickets.

Which probably also means that whenever they open sales they are quickly sold out??

I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure that the good sections such as lower18 are all season ticket holder sections and thus sold out before the tickets go on sale to the general public in July.

NFL you are right.  The tickets that go on sale to the public are lower reserve sections 36, 38, 40, 42 and 44. I believe.  In the endzone below the scoreboard.

Thank you for the info. I will not wait for the 49ers to open sales then  :-\

grid - The best way to get tickets is ask season ticketsholders If they will miss any games.  The face price is two-fold season tickectholders and single game
                Season   Single
GOLD        $84          $94
GRAY         $68          $78
RED           $49           $59
Charcoal    $25           $59

Anyone know a season ticket holder with three tickets that plans to miss the opening night game against the cards?

If no one responds here, the best bet $$ wise is at the stadium itself.  (Prices drop to face if not less once kick off happens!!)

(There are ways of working around the 'assigned' seats!! Trust me!! I was a season ticket holder for 3 years & never sat in my 'assigned' seat for more than 2 games!!!)

NFL - I would work harder on getting the 3 tickets even if the tickets are not together.  It is not hard to move around to open areas.

I wouldn't count on finding many open seats during the monday night opener though . Monday night is a huge party and that together with the improving team I would expect a sellout and expect all the season ticket holders to either be there or have sold the tickets or have given them to family or friends.

Were gonna be from out of town so obviously won't have tailgating supplies etc. Is there a nearby bar where fans go pregame? Or perhaps a section in the parkinglot for an official tailgate where anyone is invited?
Here are the best seats I could find (3 seats togeather)

Lower Box 14 row D

400.00 each   plus 10% taxes and fees.

Anyone if this section is worth the price?

I'm also considering Lower Reserved section 16  row 6     for $343 each plus %10 fees

If you have to choose between the two sections which would u get????

NFL  -  It's hard for me to say it is worth it.  If you have the money and it is a special trip, it is good.  I like the Lower Reserved You should be about 32 rows from the field.  You can see over the players.  LB 14 I think 4 rows from field hard at times to see over the players to watch the game.

LR 16-20 are the closest to the 50 on the 9ers side.  (My Scottish 'thriftiness' has coronaries knowing that the face value of those tickets is under $100 & the d*&^ brokers can get away with murder at $400 + for the exact same tickets!!

Hi Jules

I got Lower Reserve 16, Row 6 for the Vikings game at $210 and Lower Box 8, Rov V for the Bengals game at $145. I think the seat at the Bengals game is the same as I had in 2005 v the Cardinals....

LB 8 was great........and I remember your seat was not far away either.  I just had to try another seat at the other game and LR 16 looks really good  ;)

Not yet but I am positive a few of our members will be there as they are every year.  Can't wait to hear their reports and see the pics that they post on here.

We are keeping things rather simple! We prefer that people have fun rather than it be a competition to see if we can outdo the previous wedding in things that could be 'overboard'!
