My name is Sean Redenbaugh. I am an ex-sports memorabilia collector. I grew up a huge Jerry Rice fan, and over the years have accumulated a massive collection of Jerry Rice cards and memorabilia. I have between 8000-9000 cards - from rookie on up - all the old ones - and almost all in Mint condition and well kept (including 2 mint condition rookies and one near mint), 7 or 8 jerseys, 2 autographed pictures / plaques, numerous figurines (mostly Starting Lineup - all in packages), and countless other Jerry Rice items. The cards in this collection alone are worth over $15,000 - and the entire collection is estimated at nearly $20,000.
I had planned on waiting until his Hall of Fame enshrinement year, but am currently in position to sell this collection as a whole. I'm sure it could be sold piece by piece on Ebay for huge profits, or in stores, but I don't have the time nor patience, and would prefer to sell the entire thing at once for under half value. I was thinking 7-8. If you or anyone you know of might be able to make an investment like this with the ability to resell the items for a huge profit, please contact me.
